Playtesting Feedback I


After watching some people playtest the game, I've found that it takes a little bit for people to understand the unique planting system. I've changed some things around to make it easier to understand.

-- Created a second tutorial screen, launched before the player starts planting for the first time. This screen shows examples of good and bad planting.

-- Improved the Buy Seeds screen to be more consistent with the rest of the UI. More strongly emphasized the type / bumper crop dichotomy.

-- Improved the inventory screen and hotkeys so that you can easily see which seeds cause which arrows in which directions.

-- Improved the Time UI with a splash of color. The two-tone UI is good in theory, but it wasn't doing the lifting it needed to in terms of letting the player know what information is important. I've also included some animations to inform the player when their energy or daylight is running low.

There's some more miscellaneous bug fixes, and some mysterious new plants that show up on the mountain trail. Sell 'em for now, but keep your eyes out for the forthcoming alchemy update :)
